Who Says No One's Hiring?
Job-Searching Grads and Agencies Looking to Hire Eagerly Await Tomorrow's Portfolio Review in San Francisco
The business cards are printed, the carefully chosen outfits laid out on beds, the pitches and handshakes memorized and practiced. Nervous butterflies flutter in the stomachs of Miami Ad School grads facing the gauntlet of agencies at tomorrow's Winter Portfolio Review at Miami Ad School's San Francisco location.
But, they really shouldn't worry. Their hard work will see them through, buttressed by the fact that--once again--recruiters will out-number students at this festival of hiring. This is one of three portfolio reviews held each year. There is also one held in the summer, usually in Miami, and one in the fall, usually in New York. Even in this down economy, agencies know that Miami Ad School grads come ready to produce from day one. And no school produces more globally-savvy creatives.
If you're in the vicinity, please, drop on by and come see for yourself. Especially if you're hiring!
