A New Global Top Dog is Crowned
Master Lock: Gatekeeper from San Francisco is the crowned only the second-ever Global Top Dog.
At the end of each quarter, every Miami Ad School Base School location chooses a Top Dog winner. The Top Dog recognizes the most outstanding piece of creative work for a given quarter. Now, for only the second time in our history, we present not only the Global Top Dog Winner, but also the first one to be chosen by the Pros and the People alike.
As the People's Choice, San Francisco's "Gatekeeper" was the popular favorite, but, in this case, it was the Pro's Selection as well. This is what the professionals had to say about Jen Spaeth's and Chris Bluma's "Gatekeeper:"
"The San Francisco work is really smart. The innovation in media thinking and creative strategy gives it the win. This work embodies what Miami Ad School is all about--smart, thoughtful, creative but also smart strategy."
-Mark Andeer, Vice President of Brand Strategy; OfficeMax
"I voted for the Master Lock campaign because it uses social networking in a smart way that fits the brand. It's also a useful tool and not just a cool advertising piece."
- Justin Kramm, Senior Copywriter; Tribal DDB Amsterdam
Congrats to Jen and Chris! This award will surely be among the first of many for you two!
