Now in its eleventh year, the Miami Ad School Boot Camp for Account Planners always features working on a project for a high-profile client and this year is no exception. This winter's client is none other than the New York Times. They join a roster of some of the most iconic brands of the past decade including Apple, FedEx, Hormel, Microsoft, Mini, Nike, Wendy's and Yahoo! just to name a few.
Laura Langdon; Vice President, Marketing Creative Services and Lisa Gerson, Director of Partneships came to Miami at start of the quarter to brief the assembled teams of Art Directors, Copywriters and Account Planners that will be taking the project on. Their assigned task: to position NYTimes.com as a fully-interactive news and information platform. Near the end of the quarter Murray Gaylord--Vice-President: Marketing and Creative Services, NYTimes.com and Consumer Insights, NY Times Media Group--will review the teams' final presentations.
