RUMINATIONS OF A ROOKIE PLANNER

NAOMI CHRONICLES HER EXPERIENCES AS AS AN ASPIRING ACCOUNT PLANNER AT BOOT CAMP FOR ACCOUNT PLANNERS IN SOUTH BEACH

We came across Naomi's great blog where she's recording her impressions and experiences at this winter's Boot Camp for Account Planners in South Beach. She's certainly in the midst of a personal adventure!

Here's an excerpt from her first post First Day: Orientation

It's official - I am an Ad Planning student living in South Beach!

I moved into my apartment on Saturday, met some of my fellow Account Planners at Segafredo's on Sunday (I'm pretty sure our waiter was THE Segafredo himself... and also not fond of having to cater to a group of 15 excited ad students), and had orientation at 9am this Monday morning. What a whirlwind!

The School is as colorful as the people in it - neon bleachers, flat screen TVs for video conferencing, students' ad work on display, and of course the Miami Ad School logo of a puppy everywhere. (They really like dogs here. I mean, REALLY like them.)

Upon arrival, we got a little welcome package in the form of a logo-adorned messenger bag filled with all sorts of ad school goodies, including a mug, a flamingo pen, and temporary tattoo (to be used for my next biker rally, obviously).
