Miami Ad School Wins Glenn C. Smith Scholarship For Third Year in Row

Students from Miami Ad School do the unprecedented: Win the Glenn C. Smith Scholarship in Three Consecutive Years

The three-peat. In sports it is a sign of undeniable greatness. The very concept of an advertising campaign revolves around the number three. As the axiom goes: one good ad is an accident, two are a stroke of luck, and three--well, three are a campaign!

The entire Miami Ad School family around the world is very proud to announce that our students have now won the Glenn C. Scholarship for three years running. The 2010 winning team is, like last year’s, a team from our Hamburg base school location:

Bjorn Borstelmann, AD
Thibault Gerard, AD
Henrik Düfke, CW
“The Voiceipt Campaign”
International ANDY Awards Gold
Glen C. Smith Scholarship Winner, Student Best of Show

The Glenn C. Smith Scholarship is among the most prestigious student advertising awards in the world. Named in honor of a past ANDY Chairman, the award is given to the student winner of The International ANDY Awards; generally an Art Director/Copywriter team, they receive recognition at the ANDY Show along with US$5,000 in scholarship money.

In the 16-year history of the Glenn C. Smith, Miami Ad School students have been awarded the scholarship a record seven times.
