Miami Ad School Madrid Part of Spanish Creative Renaissance

Miami Ad School Madrid Students’ Awards Performance Bodes Well for Future Spanish Creative Dominance

From DandAD.org: When it comes to success, the Spanish have certainly cracked the winning formula. La Furia Roja swept to World Cup glory last week and seven days earlier, compatriot Rafael Nadal triumphed at Wimbledon. However, it’s not only in sport that our Spanish cousins excel.

In June, interiors magazine Apartmento scooped a Yellow Pencil for design at the D&AD Awards, and a team from Miami Ad School Madrid picked up the student equivalent for Loo 2 You – a unique approach to ensuring couch potatoes never miss a movie moment.

Over the past 5 years, Spanish entries have picked up no less than 4 Yellow Pencils and 5 Nominations at the Professional Awards, with a further 27 entries featuring In Book.

The future of Spain’s creative industry appears bright too, with teams from Miami Ad School Madrid receiving 19 of the 20 Student Awards presented to entries since 2006.
