Hamburg School Students Design Art Cars for German Google Street View
Students from Miami Ad School’s Hamburg Base School Design and Paint Google’s Street View Camera Cars
Google Street View is finally coming to Germany. This is a big deal and so are the cars that will be taking the pictures. They won’t be just any old camera cars. They’ll be colorful and whimsical “Art Cars” that are each the design of students at Miami Ad School in Hamburg.
Six Hamburg Base School students participated in the event in teams of two, and each team was responsible for the design and painting of one car. They were painted at a live event just last week at CeBit in Hanover, one of the largest information-technology exhibitions in the world.
The students went out of their way to make each design not only bold and eye-catching, but one they could clearly see driving around the streets of Hamburg, bringing a smile to everyone who lays eyes on it. Wouldn’t it look great parked right in front of the school?
Keep a keen eye out for them on the streets of the country. I’m sure the drivers will love to get a wave from you!
