Guest Speaker Rewind: Alexis Morgenstern, Founder & Lead Editor, GamingBits.com

Since graduating from Miami Ad School in 1998, he's been an interactive and lead designer of many web sites for various agencies and clients.

Alexis Morgenstern has over ten years experience in the interactive design field.  Alexis studied Management Information Systems and Graphic/Interactive Design at Miami Dade College, Florida International University and Miami Ad School. Since graduating in 1998, he's been an interactive and lead designer of many web sites for various agencies and clients.

From developing online media solutions for Net Video Networks, Ocean Drive Magazine and PetStyle, to building interactive music CDs for artists such as Deep Red and Distorted Reality, Alexis has experience with a broad range of media and clientele.

Alexis worked for four years as a new media director in Miami Beach for clients including Sharp, British Airways and L'Oreal. Later moving to New York, Alexis was a Senior Interactive Director on high profile real estate web projects such as Trump Hotel Chicago, St. Regis Residences, W Hotels, The Setai, Astor Place and Time Warner Center. He then returned to Miami to teach and share his experience, and passion, for interactive design at Miami Ad School.

Currently, Alexis runs a popular gaming news website, GamingBits.com and is a freelance web design consultant.  Alexis is a long time family member of the Miami Ad School, as not only a teacher since 2002, but as student in the '90s. He has a unique understanding from a student's perspective and the experience of years in the interactive business. It's a unique philosophy of the Miami Ad School, and his, to return and share the learnings of real world experience in the advertising and interactive industry.
