This is just one example of the cool opportunities all Miami Ad School students get during their time with us. Whether it's recording radio with Jim Gaffigan or shooting AT&T spots for the Olympics, you never know what events will play out to make your experience unique.

Sometimes, a student nails it. Fact is, creatives come in many shapes, sizes, forms, and modes; et cetera, et cetera. This campaign captures those elusive qualities in a "spot-on" way.

The night of the 22nd of September saw the crowning of the 10th Winner of the Annual Pick of the Litter Competition--an annual competition for account planners with less than three years of experience. Honored at the event--held at the BB King Blues Club-- were not only the winner (who, sadly, took home the cash instead of the puppy) but also a first runner-up and two finalists:.

Congratulations to Sebastian Alappat (AD, San Francisco), Andrea Aragon (CW, San Francisco), and Elyse Simpson (CW, Minneapolis) for getting a big leg up--a $10,000 boost--on their education. They are 2009 Miami Ad School Operation JumpStart Minority Scholarship winners, and they will also all be starting their educational odysseys in a little over week on October 5th.
