Bhavana Smith, Senior Manager at Accenture Media Management, was in Miami Beach this past weekend to teach weeks three’s topic: The Issue that the Brand Faces. Little did she know that she would face what South Floridians have come to accept as an ugly nuisance- the Bufo Marinus or more commonly known as the Cane Toad.

The world around us is constantly changing- everyday there is a new technology, social media platform and way to communicate with your consumer. With the new digital age upon us, keeping up can be difficult. Miami Ad School recognizes this and is launching a new workshop series called Miami Ad School PRO.

How long are your programs? Our portfolio programs (Copywriting, Art Direction, Digital Design, Digital Photography & Video) are 8 quarters/2 years in length. The Masters Degree program is 6 quarters long. The Bootcamps are 12 weeks long.

During Sam Shepherd’s time at Miami Ad School he interned at Saatchi & Saatchi Russia, Ogilvy Sao Paulo, Carrot Creative in New York and was promptly hired at DDB New York upon graduation in June of 2011. Recently, he worked on a project for Water is Life for yesterday's World Water Day that was featured on Fast Company's site.

Mary Beth came to Miami Ad School for the Digital Photography and Video program after seeing graduate Heather Talbert’s work. They were former classmates at Texas Tech University and Mary Beth was impressed with Heather’s transformation through the Miami Ad School program.
